Milestones, birthdays and reunions.
The occasion
What we do,
and don’t.
A significant birthday, a big anniversary, a reunion that finally gets everyone in one place: these are the trips a private estate is made for. Three generations under one roof, a pool for the children and a long table for the dinner that is the real reason you came. Our largest houses are built for exactly this.
The collection's biggest estates sleep up to twenty-two in private bedrooms, with the grounds, the pools and the separate buildings that keep a multi-generational group both together and able to find their own corner. For numbers beyond that, we pair neighbouring properties so the family stays within walking distance.
Houses Built for Three Generations
The estates that work for a big family gathering have the same things in common: more than one building, more than one terrace, and often more than one pool, so grandparents and toddlers and the teenagers who want to be left alone all have somewhere to be. We match the house to the shape of the family, down to which bedrooms have stairs and which do not.
The Celebration Dinner
Most of these trips are built around one night: the milestone dinner. We arrange a private chef for it, the long table laid outside, the estate's own wine where there is a cellar, and a cake. Whether it is one dinner or a chef for the whole stay is up to you; either way it is the meal everyone remembers afterwards.
Keeping Every Age Happy
Children are welcome at every villa, and most stock travel cots, high chairs and pool fencing on request. Beyond that it is about range: a tasting or a cooking class for the adults, a day at a thermal-spring town for the grandparents, room to run for the youngest, and the kind of quiet corners teenagers require. We line up activities that span the generations so no one is bored and no one is exhausted.

Frequently asked
- What size group can you accommodate for a family celebration?
- Our largest estates sleep up to 22 in private bedrooms; for bigger gatherings we pair neighbouring villas so the family stays together.
- Are the villas suitable for young children and grandparents?
- Yes. Most stock travel cots, high chairs and pool fencing on request, and we match the house to the ages so there are no stairs where they matter.
- Can you arrange a private chef for the celebration dinner?
- Yes, at every villa — for one milestone dinner or the whole stay, with the estate's own wine where there is a cellar.
- Which Tuscan region is best for a large family villa?
- Chianti for first-timers and easy day trips; the Val d'Orcia for the grandest estates and the most space. We match the region to the group.
- How far ahead should we book a large family villa?
- For peak-summer school-holiday weeks, nine to twelve months for the largest houses.
